Chorlton Community Garden: Art in the Garden programme
The aims of art in the garden are to:

• Create a welcoming and vibrant space that is pleasing to spend time in.

• Enhance the street scene for people passing by during their busy day.

• Celebrate local makers, showcase, inspire and support local creativity with nature.

• Encourage participation from all ages, backgrounds and visual art disciplines.

Art in the Garden, as a organised programme, builds on the garden's role as a special green space in a busy urban area, providing opportunities to explore important issues like caring for the environment and drawing on Chorlton's strong creative culture.
